Job Description

The Manager, Loss Prevention, Supply Chain is directly responsible for tactical control and management of shrinkage within the forward and reverse Logistics streams of the Retail, Online & Calgary Distribution Centres.  In addition, this position lends support in the physical security of all corporate offices.  The incumbent in this role is effective in developing sound solutions to enhance the safeguarding of company assets.



  • Provide Loss Prevention and Security leadership and support in the three Indigo distribution centres (DCs)
  • Manage the research, analysis, and interpretation of Supply Chain loss; develop and recommend strategies for execution and improvement of the DC loss prevention process
  • Oversee the Brampton and Calgary Distribution Centre Asset Protection function
  • Conduct investigations of suspected criminal activity within the distribution centres and supply chain environment
  • Ensures that all investigations and resolutions comply with applicable federal, provincial and local laws as well as company policy
  • Conduct shrink and security compliance reviews and provide appropriate operational support/follow-up to ensure opportunities for improvement are identified and corrected
  • Prepare business cases in support of large expenditures when required
  • Ensure the completion of team deliverables and set/adhere to team budgets, as applicable
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision-making processes
  • Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs
  • Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigo’s customers
  • Challenge the status quo and consistently identify areas for improvement, diagnose issues and working to resolve them

  • An Associate or Bachelor Degree in an appropriate field of study or a minimum of 5+ years Loss Prevention experience specific to Warehouse/Logistics is required
  • Minimum 2-5 years in a managerial/supervisory role
  • 5 years’ experience in analytics is an asset
  • Technical knowledge of: SAP ERP, SAP EWM
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access
  • LPC certification is an asset
