Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Partner acts as a talent connector ensuring successful recruitment of necessary talent to drive Indigo’s high performance culture. This role is accountable for all aspects of the recruitment process, which fosters strong hiring leader relationships using a consultative approach. The Talent Acquisition Partner advises on, promotes and executes Indigo’s Talent Acquisition strategy, while demonstrating an understanding of the external market, a passion for a high caliber candidate experience and elevating Indigo’s employer brand.   


  • Understand and execute against Indigo’s strategic priorities, including HR strategies for Talent Acquisition  
  • Own end-to-end recruitment cycle (planning, sourcing, assessing, selecting, and delivering) for all Indigo business units through execution of Talent Strategy and Talent Acquisition process  
  • Partner effectively with cross functional leaders to ensure talent is secured for all open positions 
  • Participate in ongoing talent discussions to understand current and anticipate future talent needs  
  • Coach and support hiring leaders through the Talent Acquisition process  
  • Facilitate intake meetings with hiring leaders on all active or planned vacancies, and establish strong internal relationships through ongoing communication/scheduled updates 
  • Lead recruitment process including scheduling, communications and maintaining candidate experience, escalate to senior leaders as needed 
  • Ensure recruitment advertising and postings align to Indigo’s Employer Brand guidelines 
  • Identify and establish diverse (active and passive) sourcing strategies to attract key talent and build Indigo Employer Brand 
  • Provide hiring leaders with recommendations and assessments of talent considering all criteria shared through the intake process 
  • Leverage Indigo’s talent tools including Talent Profiles and Talent Dashboard to identify key internal talent for consideration for open positions 
  • Partner with hiring leader, Total Rewards and Human Resources throughout offer negotiations 
  • Manage due diligence checks, new hire system set up and ensure all new hires are transitioned through the onboarding process 
  • Build relationships with associations, networks etc. in alignment with strategic priorities to attract and recruit top talent   
  • Source, establish, partner and manage relationships with preferred recruitment firms   
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the external market to ensure that Indigo maintains a strong position in recruiting talent 
  • Establish active candidate pipeline (both internal and external) channels and candidate pools for future openings, in partnership with hiring leaders 
  • Identify key data sources, leverages metrics and insights to produce objective fact-based recommendations to systems, process, tools  
  • Provide accurate weekly and ad hoc reporting a timely manner 
  • Identify and recommend key opportunities for continuous improvement to the Talent Acquisition process, systems and tools, as needed 
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision-making processes
  • Build strong teams by attracting and developing the best talent 
  • Share feedback based on working relationships and experience with leaders to support in talent calibration process  
  • Collaborate with others to drive flexible and iterative solutions, quickly and easily 
  • Encourage others to freely share their point of view and be open to feedback 



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a similar or related field is preferred 
  • 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, ideally from a blend of agency and Corporate/Retail/DC environments 
  • 2+years of experience hiring in hard-to-fill markets 
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter considered an asset 
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and integrated onboarding solutions (SmartRecruiters and UKG Onboarding considered an asset)  
  • Demonstrated experience using social recruiting and developing talent pipelines 
  • Direct experience in executing a scalable TA function by leveraging sound process and tools (in Stores & DCs) 
  • Passion for recruitment productivity, constantly re-evaluating and adapting recruitment strategies 
  • Demonstrated influencing and coaching skills 
  • Ability to develop credibility and rapport and influence cross functional partners at all levels of the organization, establishing oneself as a trusted advisor 
  • Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic, approachable 
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Passionate about retail and business transformation 
  • Proven ability to inspire top talent by sharing the Indigo story  
  • Thorough understanding of employer branding, brand messaging, and related elements of marketing for attraction purposes 
  • Strong time management skills and initiative, with the ability to participate in some project-based work as necessary
