Job Description
The Vice President of Digital Product & UX/UI will directly lead the Digital Product and Design teams and cross-functionally inspire on Indigo’s journey of massive digital transformation. This person is responsible for creating the end-to-end Digital vision and product roadmap fully bringing to life digitally Indigo’s vision of being a Living with Intention company. This role is responsible for the product roadmap, UX/UI design, research, experimentation, personalization, and technical copywriting to achieve a best-in-class customer experience to achieve exponential sales and profitability growth both directly in e-commerce and through omni-channel digital touchpoints. The Vice President of Digital Product & UX/UI will also support the organization cross-functionally in the evolution of a digital-first culture to rapidly evolve to providing Indigo customers a seamless and joyful experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Strategic
- Lead Digital Transformation of e-commerce site and digital omni-channel touchpoints
- Lead vision and strategy for the Product Roadmap
- Maintain a deep understanding of market and digital trends and drive innovation to always be best-in-class
- Lead a culture shift, within Digital and cross-functionally, towards enhanced analytics and an experimentation mindset
- Support the Indigo strategy by developing mid to long-term departmental and team plans (1-2 years)
- Maintain a high level of strategic foresight by identifying customer and business needs, and adjusting departmental and team objectives accordingly
- Champion the role of Digital Product organizationally solving on behalf of the customer
Functional
- Work with internal and external teams to execute the digital re-platform
- Lead the Product teams to constantly be innovating on behalf of the Indigo customers
- Lead the Design teams to bring to life simple and inspiring customer experience
- Ensure all digital touchpoints meet or exceed accessibility requirements
- Define Product Objectives and measure all relevant Key Results
- Seek out and partner for customer and market research to identify top solutions to exceed customers’ needs
- Innovate and implement a ‘digital happy place’ for Indigo customers within all phygital touch points
- Implement a culture and functionality for deep testing using enhanced analytics
- Ensure the execution of team deliverables and adapt team priorities based on changing needs
- Set/adhere to team budgets, as applicable
- Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision-making processes
- Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigo’s customers
- Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs
- Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them

Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE:
- 12+ years leading Digital Product and Design Teams
- Experience with omni-channel major retailers
- Experience with a re-platform or significant modernization work
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Business
- Highest level of people leadership and change management skill-set
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective and collaborative relationships across the organization in pursuit of corporate goals
- Ability to create partnerships and influence outcomes, utilizing effective communication skills
