Job Description

The Project Manager, Digital is responsible for the planning and execution of Digital/Omni-Channel initiatives, programs, and projects as well as shaping and implementing cross functional processes. This includes driving pilot development, roll-out, and sustainment plans for key Digital projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment through all aspects of project delivery.  



  • Define and create assigned project scopes, milestones, and execution calendars 
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify deliverables and key milestones, resources and any requirements for an assigned project 
  • Create and manage execution plans, outlining the sequence of activities, and cross functional deliverables 
  • Own, manage, update, and maintain central repository of project documents (SharePoint, Smartsheets, etc.) 
  • Actively manage project schedules. Lead cross-functional project delivery teams to achieve project milestones and objectives by maintaining consistent follow-up and communicating current and upcoming deliverables 
  • Manage project communication ensuring full transparency between all project stakeholders, including executive sponsors, business owners, and project deliveries teams 
  • Lead/facilitate weekly project team meetings; ensure keeping of meeting minutes and action items and distribute to the project delivery team. Follow-up on action items or assigned ownership as required 
  • Identify and manage issues and risks jeopardizing project success through regular updates to the business owner; escalate any risks or concerns 
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for the cross-functional teams in any project 
  • Ensure budgetary requirements for projects are met and maintained throughout  
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders on process to identify opportunities for improvement and establish best practices to share with the project delivery team 
  • Act as an advocate for our customers and employees by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision-making processes 
  • Represent the Digital Projects team as a Digital representative and subject matter expert

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing high-volume, complex, consumer facing projects; 8+ years of experience in a digital environment is an asset 
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience 
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) or equivalent experience 
  • Extensive experience in using a defined Project Management Process – initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects 
  • Experienced and skilled in developing and managing a project budget, estimating work effort, and organizing and coordinating project work 
  • Experience implementing projects in a retail environment an asset 
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines – do what it takes to get the job done 
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently 
  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills 
  • Keen desire to learn and see the opportunities in all tasks 
  • Effective problem solver with analytical, insightful approach, constantly seeking to improve methodologies 
  • Detail orientation with strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills 
  • Expert in Microsoft Office 
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Miro an asset 
  • Bilingual is considered an asset
