Job Description


The Global Sourcing Assistant supports senior members of the Global Sourcing team in managing Indigo Private Label product through all stages of production from design inception to delivery. 

  • Support adherence to calendar deliverables 
  • Maintain Seasonal Product Line charts 
  • Track SKU Counts – merchant lists, adoption, changes 
  • Support the management of product life cycles 
  • Support senior leaders by providing cost analysis of Price Work Sheets (PWS) 
  • Ensure data integrity of all Price Work Sheets (PWS) 
  • Create Seasonal Cost Logs 
  • Ensure the integrity of Purchase Orders (PO’s) 
  • Request, validate, follow up with processing of Purchase Order Change Requests (POCRs) 
  • Track and validate all PP and TOP Samples 
  • Support Sample Approval process 
  • Track product revisions to ensure product integrity 
  • Ensure T.O.P Samples match back to approved P.P Samples 
  • Ensure product testing results meet all requirements prior to product shipments 
  • Review Production Tracking Reports (WIP) to ensure product on-time delivery 
  • Follow up on shipment delays 
  • Drive and own data accuracy e.g. Deliveries & product details, including reporting 
  • Communicate daily with design, merchandising, logistics, buying offices and factories as needed 
  • Stay current in functional expertise e.g. Excel, SAP 
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes 
  • Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs 
  • Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigo’s customers 
  • Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them 
  • Collaborate with others to drive flexible and iterative solutions, quickly and easily 
  • Model Indigo’s beliefs and convey a positive image in everything you do

  • Bachelor’s degree in similar or related field 
  • Minimum 1-year experience with a private brand vertical retailer 
  • Experience in home/apparel sourcing in global markets 
  • Knowledge of costing and retail math  
  • Understanding of key private label design/development, sourcing, and production practices  
  • Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced and agile organization 
  • Ability to operate independently and be self-motivated with critical attention to detail 
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Proven organizational capabilities 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Able and willing to take initiative  
  • Solutions-oriented approach
